We're a team on a mission to change the world...one village at a time. Our mission is to bring holistic change and sustainability to everyone in the Amazon Rainforest.
OUR PROGRAMS & INITIATIVES
The Peruvian Amazon Rainforest is a vast region with thousands of villages connected by rivers. Through the use of versatile boats and canoes, we are able to travel up the primary tributaries of the Amazon River, like the Marañón, Chambira, Ucayali, and Huallaga Rivers to come alongside villages large and small. Our organization is committed to coming alongside and forming relationships with as many villages as possible through laying a foundation of trust, love, and pursuit of learning. As the relationships grow stronger, we offer ourselves as servants to each community, and mold programs and a structure (unique to each community, always in concert with the community themselves), that will aid in community and leadership development. We also aim to provide various assets to the community like sustainable businesses, clean water facilities, and educational curriculum as resources are available. Currently we have relationships with over 100 villages and would love to have you join us in our mission to help all of the villages throughout the Peruvian Amazon flourish!
Adopt-A-Village Initiative
The Adopt-A-Village Initiative is a self-sustaining program built around the hope and power of the local community. Our strategy is built on working alongside key leaders to utilize strengths and free their hearts and minds of the restrictive value systems, beliefs, and practices of the region.
Mission Experience
Through volunteering your time and sacrificing your bodies to do the work needed, you can change both your life and the lives of the Amazon villagers! We accept individuals (16+) and teams of any size, usually for 10-14 days. All that is needed is an eager and willing heart to change the world.
Community Congreso
This is our largest event of the year and we’d love to have you join us! We invite every village from across the region to join us in our mission base in Nuevo San Juan on the Chambira River. This is truly a unique event where we offer teaching, kids activities, 20K+ meals and medical services to over 2,000 villagers.
Seminars & Conferences
Every year, we have 4 seminars, that allow for leaders from around the Peruvian Amazon to come together to fellowship, problem solve, and learn from experts from around the world. We cover many topics including youth and community development, health and lifestyle training, and leadership curriculum.
Christmas Toys
Outreach
The Christmas Toys ministry is our 2nd largest outreach of the year. Through the gift of a small toy, cup of hot chocolate and fruit cake (a Peruvian tradition), this ministry celebrates the uniqueness and purpose found in every villager, while bringing love and holiday cheer to everyone we visit!
Internships
We pride ourselves on providing authentic and transformational experiences for people ready for an adventure unlike any other! While participating in our internship program, you will live and travel with Jorge Montero, his team, and any team from abroad as we continue to do our work throughout the Amazon.
